pNEUMA Vision incorporates imagery data and annotations of vehicles in the form of image coordinates along with newly added vehicle trajectory features like azimuth. More information can be found in the related journal article in TRC (here) where we also propose a novel denoising method for vision-extracted trajectories using regularized anomaly detection. Some additional highlights include:
- The lateral acceleration of motorcycles after denoising is significantly larger than the rest of the vehicles
- Estimating road density via density map using image segmentation technique on aerial footage.
